Swangz Avenue’s Roast & Rhyme event, styled after the Blankets & Wine festival happened at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo on Sunday. Kampala’s party people attended the do in droves, stamping the quarterly event’s arrival onto the social calender. Toniks, Babaluku, Benono and Kaz Kasozi performed by Irene Ntale ruled the day, working the crowd with her ballads. Our camera was on the scene.
