Like we told you a few weeks back, on these very pages, DR Congo singer, songwriter and dancer Faustin Ipupa N’simba, aka Fally Ipupa is set to rock the northwest part of our banana republic this December.
Yes, we can reliably confirm that Fally will be the headlining act at the upcoming Club Mega Fest Arua version.
According to highly placed sources at NBL, after a successful Mega Fest in Masaka, there is no doubt the company will make an impact and also get value for money when they fly the Congolese star to the border town of Uganda and DRC this December.
According to the source, the decision to fly in Fally was shaped by the fact that there are several Congolese nationals in West Nile, as well as the West Nilers’ known deep appreciation for Lingala music.
Like we told you weeks back, all necessary paperwork was finalised and a video drop from Fally confirming his trip to Arua will be released soon.
The 39-year-old singer was a member of Koffi Olomidé’s Quartier Latin International band from 1999 until 2006. Fally has several global accolades to his name and he has performed for different audiences across the world.
