Cancer patient, Carol Atuhirwe who is currently undergoing treatment in India has conveyed words of hope about her soon ending ordeal.
Word reaching us says that Atuhirwe is responding well to the medication contrary to what some people thought of her silence lately.
Atuhirwe was diagnosed with throat cancer and she needed $80,000 to travel abroad for surgery earlier this year. Friends, family and well-wishers allover Kampala joined in funding the full amount and also supporting her morally.
However, she met a roadblock when she was denied a chance to go to USA where she had arranged for the surgery, as the doctors backed out, an action that was met with a lot of harsh and mixed responses from the public. She was later flown to India where she had the surgery and remains under observation.
Our prayers are with her until we see her home again.
