Faith Ariho has been in broadcasting and photo journalism for eight years and counting. She is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.
She started her broadcast journalism career in the formative years when she joined NBS as a weather reporter and then grew into mainstream news reporter and anchor.
The sexy Faith went on to pioneer great news programs such as Lunchtime News and Late Edition as an anchor.
Her outstanding talent was spotted by NTV Uganda that signed her up as part of their Prime Time news anchors’ and reporters’ team before being poached by New Vision’s Urban TV where she was an integral part of their English Prime Time news as both anchor and reporter.
Her work in the Uganda media earned her a nomination for best news anchor in 2014, at the Uganda TV and Radio Awards.
Faith is not only a news anchor giant but also a passionate photographer. She decided to explore her passion for photography alongside her burgeoning broadcast career when joined Daystar University in Nairobi in 2015. Daystar University happens to be a premium media school.
In her growing journey as a talented and creative photographer, Ariho takes compelling photographs about common people and sites such street photographs, nature, travel, culture, photographs that tell the human story, just like she said, “photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.”
