Arua, brace yourselves for Congolese star Fally Ipupa. The singer, songwriter and dancer whose real name is Faustin Ipupa N’simba is set to perform in Arua town in December. According to our sources, Fally Ipupa will perform at a concert a top beverage company has organised as a way of rewarding the people of West Nile.




We are told the company chose Fally Ipupa because West Nilers’ appreciation of Lingala music. The source added that all the necessary paperwork as well as commitment fees had been finalised. Born December 14 1977, the 39-year old was a member of Koffi Olomidé’s Quartier Latin International band from 1999 until 2006, when he released his debut solo album.

Since then, Fally Ipupa has won several global accolades and has performed for audiences across the globe.
