Israel Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, is expected in Uganda today to commemorate 40 years since the Israeli raid on Entebbe Airport to rescue his country men and women who had been taken hostage by a group associated with the Palestinian Liberation Organisation.
Netanyahu’s elder brother, Yonathan also known as Yoni, who was commanding the operation was shot dead at Entebbe during the raid.
Netanyahu and his host, President Yoweri Museveni, will be joined by seven heads of state and government for a mini regional summit on security and anti-terrorism at State House, Entebbe. All major TVs will broadcast events live.
