On Friday the parliament of Uganda held a special night session at the famous Club Guvnor Kampala.

In this particular session, it was action above debating!
The session that was attended by the Speaker of parliament- Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, her deputy and recently turned arch rival Jacob Oulanyah and several legislators majorly from the ruling party.

Unlike usual sessions where legislators sit and only stand up to talk, this was all about loosening up and shaking the body. And trust Rebecca Kadaga; she led the session and left everyone convinced she is the best for the speaker job!

We were made to understand that the session was a party thrown for Hon. Kadaga upon being announced the candidate for the speakership by NRM.
Hon. Kadaga beat her deputy Oulanyah to the slot after the two had rounds of sharp accusations in the media for the past weeks.
The speaker arrived at about 11pm and immediately joined members of parliament on the dance floor.
Contrary to tabloid reports that she is invalid, Hon. Kadaga was full of energy as she did paka chini moves and hopped around the dance floor with vigor!
Ululating filled the party spot when Hon. Oulanyah joined his former nemesis on the dance floor; the two did a ‘hi five’ and even danced together, like nothing had happened!
As if to shelve her dance strokes from Kampala copycats, Hon. Kadaga exited as soon Guvnor patrons started pouring in at around 1am.
Hon. Oulanyah followed suit shortly after, but many legislators stayed back and danced the night away. And voila; Hon. Kadaga and Oulanyah danced to unity!
