kyalyaRecent presidential aspirant Maureen Kyalya has rebuked Baganda tribesmen for their support of non-Baganda politicians instead of rallying behind their own tribesmen to take national power.

Perhaps you could call it the latest ‘insane’ Facebook post from the controversial Maureen Kyalya.

Like the above image shows, Kyalya begins by making the case that the most important offices of the country are located in Buganda, yet they are occupied by non-Baganda. Then she goes on to argue that Baganda have instead allowed to be placed in undesirable positions where they are used to accomplish out unpopular acts like ‘announcing false election results.’

Kyalya then accuses Baganda of betraying their own tribesmen to help non-Baganda rise to leadership, and she calls on the people of Buganda to ‘have some shame’and begin supporting their own tribesmen so Baganda can rule the country.

Kyalya argues Baganda are supposed to rule Uganda because Buganda is the central part of Uganda with a long history of leadership and with capable people who only need the support of their tribesmen to take power.

Among the Baganda she deems capable of leading the country once given their tribesmen’s support, Kyalya names Dr. Abded Bwanika, Aidah Nantaba, Betty Nambooze, Muhammed Nsereko, Theodere Ssekikubo and Joseph Mabirizi.
