Uganda’s top female rapper, Jocelyne Tracey Keko, popularly known as just Keko, has revealed that she is quitting doing music. The singer took to her Twitter handle and announced that she will soon throw in the towel.
The rapper broke onto the scene with the release of Fallen Heroes, a song she did in 2011 featuring a number of artistes like Don MC among others.
However, the release of her big tune How We Do It took both the Ugandan and African music industry by storm and it later led to an endorsement deal with big companies like Pepsi and mountain Dew’s advertising campaign in E. Africa. Keko is considered as one of the best and greatest female rappers on the African continent.
However, she has battled drugs in the past.
