Isbat hosts Watoto Community Leadership school

Watoto church last Thursday staged a free seminar on of Community leadership dialogue at Isbat University.

Olivia Matovu an advocate for Watoto church said the one day free study programme was intended to mentor and influence leaders in our society today.




The dialogue was attended to by a number of leaders from Nakawa division including LC1 chairpersons and organisation leaders.

One of the members of the Panel, Executive Councilor at Isbat University Dr. Bhaat advised leaders to be hardworking and never to change their focus.

“Don’t change the boat but change the direction of the boat,” Bhaat said.

While speaking about law of connection as a concept of leadership, former URA administrator Jacqueline K Pundo was asked about how long any leader should stay at the helm.

“As long as he is still influential. He can pass the baton after grooming a team to take charge after him, which will do even much better than him,” Pundo said.

Matovu applauded Nakawa division, 91.3 Capital FM, God Filled Engineering Agency and Isbat University for partnering with Watoto church to organise the study.
