Bobi Wine hosts American delegation for tea in Kamwokya Ghetto

Singer Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi this Wednesday morning hosted a delegation for the American embassy at their Ghetto Youth Center in Kamwokya.



The U.S delegation was led by Lisa C. Larson- the Cultural Affairs Officer at the American Embassy, and had other officials that included members of the Hen House Prowlers Band.

The Ghetto Youth Center is a place where Bobi facilitates children and the youth who have outstanding talents in different fields.

The U.S. Diplomat and her team were in Kamwokya for a cultural exchange.

The entourage had the chance to inspect some of the products that the ghetto youth make using their hands!

Some officials had their clothes painted.

There was entertainment from different performers that included the One Love Army, the Fire Base Army, Zex the Painter, and Bobi’s younger brother Dax.

The American delegation had also come prepared with the Hen House Prowlers; a four member all white band famous for  remixing Eddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss hit. The band played Sitya Loss live to the crowd’s delight!  They also sang P-Square’s Chop My Money.

The band also took some time off and taught the ghetto youths how to play some of the instruments they had carried.

Bobi Wine is currently gearing up to contest for the Kyadondo East seat in Parliament after area MP Apollo Kantinti was thrown out by court.
