flavia tumusiime 2It is a big day for Flavia Tumusiime. Well, it is not her birthday, but an anniversary worth celebrating.

The beauty marks a year since she graced our TV screens as a news anchor.

“Today I make one year as a news anchor, my current role on TV. On this date 29th June 2015, I went on air for my first bulletin on NTV Tonight  and I still get excited to learn something new,” Flavia posted on her Facebook wall earlier this morning.

Well, it is not just a year on TV for Flavia who first graced the silver screen as a teenager on WBS’s Teen’s Club and she made sure she reminded us of that detail by also posting a #Throwback picture of her WBS days.

Then and now: Flavia at Teens Club (L) and in her current role as a news anchor (R).

NTV 9pm news ratings shot through the roof ever since Flavia joined the news anchoring team, with many men drooling more at her beauty than the gist of her news.

At Matooke Republic, we wish you a happy anniversary Flavia. Where is the party?
