If you thought that tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia is good at only business, you had better know that the maverick money-maker is also a superb cook.
Sudhir astounded many yesterday at the Ready Steady Cook Off competition that was held at Kabira Country Club, Bukoto, as the tycoon and his team won the top prize out of eight competing teams.
The sight of Sudhir in a chef’s attire was on its own quite a surprising sight, but then guests at the event were further astounded as at the end of the competition, the team Sudhir captained –Team Wednesday– was announced overall winner and awarded the overall trophy.
The other seven teams that took part in the competition included hosts Kabira Country Club, Kampala Food Network, Gagamel Family, Ruparelia Foundation, Sheraton Hotel, Red Paper and NBS TV.
You might also want to know that the competition as adjudicated by both a panel of judges as wellas the public. The 8 teams prepared different dishes which they served to both judges and the public to give marks.
