Besigye T-shirts now selling like hot cake

besigye3The youths including Samson Tusiime were apparently arrested for planning to hold illegal demonstrations in Jinja.




FDC says the other two are Ismail Muyinda and Asia Nanyanzi, a colleague at Vintage creations, a company run by creative youths.

After the incident, several people, mainly boda boda cyclists flocked the FDC headquarters in Najjanankubi to purchase the T-shirts, which are being printed to show solidarity to Besigye as he appears to answer treason charges at the High Court on Wednesday.

”Tugenda kuzzambala ne Kayihura ateggele nti tuli banyivu, agile agaziye amakomela ngabukyali (Let us put them on in demonstration of our unhappiness and let Kayihura know it and start expanding detention centres)” journalist Francis Bahene Tumwekwasize who was at the scene quoted a one Kasule.
