FDC weekly prayers for the country kick off

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) have today held their first prayer session for the country at their headquarters in Najjanankumbi Kampala.

In protest the 18th February presidential election results, where Eng. Dr. Badru Kiggundu declared president Musevini as winner, the party spokesperson Mr. Ssemujju Nganda launched a “Free My Vote campaign” last week.

One of the features of the campaign is a call to citizens all over the country to pray for the nation and to pray against the continued house arrest of the party’s former president (who was also party flag bearer in last month’s presidential election), Dr. Kizza Besigye.
