Bad Black warns former gang girls not to come near her

Just a few hours after her release from Luzira prison where she has served a four-year sentence, city socialite Shanita Namuyimba (aka Bad Black) has sounded a vehement warning to the girls who used to hang with her as she wildly spent cash around Kampala.

“You girls who think you’re my friends because you used to move around with me those days I was throwing money around,” Black has said several times on camera today,”Please don’t come near me if you know you never even once stepped in Luzira to see me all the time I have been there! I have realized you were gold-diggers who kept around me only to eat my money. So keep very far from me. I don’t want to even see your faces.”

It might be remembered that from the moment she burst onto Kampala’s social scene as a free-spending money truck, Bad Black always moved around with a gang of about a dozen girls (some times as many as twenty) whom she lavished with expensive wines and dinners in high-end places. Once there were even rumours she had taken more than a dozen girls to a car bond and bought each of them a brand new car.

Among other things, Black has revealed that prison has taught her to spend her money wisely according to a meticulously-drawn budget, let alone afforded her time to draw closer to God by becoming a born-again Christian and made her more mature all-round.
Bad Black –who has returned from prison very light-skinned, more less yellow– has also revealed plans to become a professional musician and earn ‘easy money’ from singing, and has indicated that she is going to be moving around the world making money and enjoying life.
