Little Mitchell performs at Rubaga Miracle Centre.

“Don’t wait to make your son a great man – make him a great boy. Lord help me make my son a great boy.” That was a statement jazz star Isaiah Katumwa posted alongside a photo of his son Mitchoelon on his Facebook wall.

Sax master Isaiah Katumwa.

We have since gathered that the little Katumwa- Mitchell, is singing his way into people’s hearts whenever he performs with his Proclaim Miracle Kids group at the Rubaga Miracle Center Cathedral. At a tender age, Mitchel sings worship songs like he is God sent and plays the piano far better than his star father.

We are still wondering why Mitchell didn’t choose a saxophone that his father is a master at.

But for now, enjoy this video of Katumwa on stage with his son Mitchell during one of his past concerts at the Kampala Serena Hotel; indeed- Mitchell has a bright future ahead of him in the music industry!
