One of the kids whose dance strokes blew the world away in Eddy Kenzo’s viral Sitya Loss video passed away in a bicycle accident last evening.
14-year-old Alex Ssempijja succumbed to injuries after a serious bicycle accident. He was with the Triplets’ female dancer Patricia who was admitted to Case Clinic in critical condition.
The kids featured in the Sitya Loss video that brought singer Eddy Kenzo worldwide fame and a BET Award. A clip from the viral video was also used in the Coca Cola advert for their Believe campaign.
“Am sorry to announce the death of Alex Sitya Loss. I started working with Alex way back in the days of #MundekeNumbe #Zivuga #Jambole#SityaLoss and recently in the #SoGood video.They were involved in an accident with #Patricia the gal also in #SityaLoss video.Right now we are @CaseClinic doctors are trying their best 2 see that her life is saved.May the Great Lord see us through this hard situation. RIP ALEX My brother.oh God!!!,” Kenzo posted on his Facebook page.
“It was not a boda boda. No, bicycle on a hill, breaks failed and fell into a ditch,” said Anne Whitehead of WhiteHead Communications, one of the first to break the news.
“Ohhhh gone so soon ma son but still u will always be my star and may ur dear soul rest in eternal peace,” the Triplets manager Kavuma Dauda said.
Kavuma has also launched an appeal for people to contribute to Patricia’s medication on the Triplets Paypal account on tripletsclub@gmail.com.
