Pope Francis kicked of his six-day African visit in Kenya, this Wednesday evening.
The pope stunned Kenyans by riding in a modest gray Honda through Nairobi’s streets, with windows down, waving to Kenyans lining the streets.
“The Honda car that the pope is using. Even an MP of the poorest slum in Kenya would not use it,” tweeted one Kenyan, Gibson Maina.
“If there is a lesson to learn from him is humility. He’s so humbled unlike our politicians,” tweeted another, Samuel Kungu.
The Pope arrives in Uganda, this Friday and he will use a popemobile (click here to see it), but a small black car was also seen being fuelled alongside the Isuzu popemobile.
