Ne-yo gained fame for his songwriting abilities when he penned the 2004 hit Let Me Love You for singer Mario. The single’s successful release prompted an meeting between Ne-Yo and Def Jam’s label head, and the signing of a recording contract.
He went on to become a prolific songwriter and artiste in his own right, with hit songs like So Sick, When You’re Mad, Sexy Love, Closer, Miss Independent and others.
This will be Ne-yo’s third time in Africa in just a couple of months.
