Rema NamakulaRather than fan hatred, singer Rema Namakula has called on her baby-daddy Eddy Kenzo’s fans to vote for Bebe Cool to bring the MTV Video of The Year trophy home, despite the fact the Love You Everyday singer said some words that were not considered as nice by Kenzo’s fans.

Bebe Cool took to social media to lash out at Kenzo’s fans who had started de-campaigning him because he called Kenzo upcoming (click here to read Bebe Cool’s missive). Bebe said he won’t take back his words because there is a difference between an upcoming artiste and a pioneer.

Bebe’s word rubbed fans the wrong way and they decided not to vote for Bebe, but now the Big Talent first lady, Mama Aamaal has called on Kenzo’s fans to vote for Bebe Cool so that the MTV Award also comes to Uganda.

“We had no idea that he was bringing the BET award home so let’s not give up. Keep voting and voting BEBE COOL for video of the year. Be blessed. Together we got this,” Rema said.

Rema still has respect for Bebe Cool who brought her on the scene with their Cease and Sekkle collabo. Rema left Bebe Cool’s Gagamel camp and joined Kenzo on a “private” arrangement that led to the birth of baby Aamaal.

She still has nothing but respect for Bebe Cool whom she first worked with in her primary school days when she lent backgrounds vocals to Sambagala, Bebe Cool’s collabo with her aunt Halima Namakula.

Jose Chameleone is also nominated in the Evolution category. To vote for Chameleone and Bebe Cool, visit the MTV MAMA website and click on their respective categories.
