[dropcap]E[/dropcap]ver since the Hellen Lukoma and Brenda Nambi HB Toxic duo disbanded two years ago, Nambi has been on a down-low, concentrating on her Bambi Fashion House designs.

Unlike her former group mate who has turned into a socialite of sorts, hitting the party scene hard and promoting her House of Lukoma Boutique, Nambi has been too busy with her sketch book and her sewing machine creating designs for clients.

On Thursday, Nambi made one of her rare public appearances as one of the three designers taking part in a style challenge for the launch of the Mr Price and Bossini stores at Garden City. They were not showcasing their own designs and the idea was to pick up pieces from the two stores and style models for different looks like office, casual smart and sporty. Nambi won the challenge , taking home Shs4m.
