Franklin Emuobor, the Nigerian who leaked singer Desire Luzinda’s nude photos last October has hurled insults at Ethics Minister Father Simon Lokodo, using the Luganda expletive “Tomanyira.”
Tomanyira is a Luganda word with the closest description being the English saying “familiarity breeds contempt.”
“I think Fr Lokodo and whoever is spreading rumours that I have been arrested are all high on cheap drugs … Ngenda maaso,” Franklin went on.
Franklin appears in a video he uploaded on his Facebook wall in a foreign country with a fellow Nigerian, disputing claims that he has been arrested.
On Tuesday The New Vision reported Franklin had been arrested.
“Speaking at the Uganda Media Centre on Tuesday, Rev. Fr. Simon Lokodo, the State minister for Ethics and Integrity said he was arrested by Interpol. He however did not disclose where he was arrested from. “We are going to subject him to the Ugandan courts of law and charge him since Uganda is where he initially committed the crime,” New Vision quoted the minister.
“Does this look like jail? How can I be in jail when I’m busy making money,” Franklin taunted the minister whom he reduced to a minister of Lugambo!
He also posted a selfie, watching the Chelsea VS PSG Champions League game on a flat screen on Tuesday night. Surely jail doesn’t look like that.
