Singer Desire Luzinda sat next to Seya during Pastor Bugembe’s Celebrity Sunday service at his Light The World Ministries’ church in Nansana on Sunday.

The Ekotine singer and the former Kampala Mayor Al Hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala that is popularly known as Seya have been linked to being an item over the years, though none has ever come out to confirm it.

When asked whether he was seeing Desire a few years ago, Seya who has no problems with “murdering” the Queens language is said to have famously said, “Those are our private parts.”

Prior to the leaking of her nude pictures last October, Desire was arrested over a Shs10m debt and she was released after a “friend” paid the Shs10m. That friend is said to have been Seya.

She claimed she had been conned by her Nigerian ex-boyfriend Franklin Emonbour to end up indebted and the Nigerian responded by leaking her nude photos that went viral on social media.

The photos turned out a blessing in disguise as she is one of the most sought after female musicians and she has used the “limelight” to release songs like Ekitone and Ebyama. She is also soon releasing Tononya, a collabo with Radio and Weasel.

Seya was supportive of Desire during the tough time, days after the nude photos had leaked.

“Me and Desire are friends, and friends have to be there for each other. I’m going to support her in all means,” he said.

“In our days bedroom matters were private. In fact we used to even switch off the lights when we were making love,” he added.

However, during the Celebrity Sunday, Desire didn’t turn up with Seya. She came accompanied by bouncers and took up a seat in the church. However, the seat next to her was reserved and the former mayor was ushered into the seat when he arrived.

He also hugged Desire, after she gave her testimony to Pastor Bugembe.
