The first ended 3-0 in favour of the Uganda Cranes as they took on Togo in a World Cup qualifier match and it ended that way 90 minutes later.

A goal from captain Geoffrey Massa and two from Farouk Miya ensured that the Uganda Cranes move on to the group stages of the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Jubilating fans commented that Cranes was punishing Togo for having broken it’s 10-year unbeaten home record with a 0-1 win at Namboole last October.

Fans are jubilating for the win as we await to see which group Uganda is drawn in. The country has never made it to the World Cup and last played at the Africa Cup of Nations Finals in 1978, but with renewed belief, this might be Uganda Cranes time to fly. Congratulations Uganda Cranes.
