Artistes showered with Shs400m for M7 campaign song

While it was raining cats and dogs in various parts of the country, for top local artistes, it rained millions.

Local musicians, comedians, actors and fashion designers  where treated to a state dinner at Speke Resort Munyonyo at the launch of the Tubonga Nawe song, that reiterates their support for President Museveni who has been at the helm for the past 29 years, come the 2016 elections.

The dozen artistes on the song include  Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Juliana Kanyomozi, King Saha, Rema Namakula, Mun G, Iryn
Namubiru, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Judith Babirye, Radio and Weasel and Haruna Mubiru.

Matooke Republic understands that the artistes were rewarded with Shs400m to form a Sacco.
