Brace yourself if you enjoyed NTV’s Be My Date programme that used to air on Sunday evenings before presenter Anitah Fabiola got sacked after her nudes went viral on social media.

The Be My Date show is back, with a new presenter, who is not new to television. MUBS student Bettinah “Tianah” Nassali, a well-known TV personality, actress and model has hooked the  job.

Bettinah is a former presenter of NBS’ the Youth Voice programme and is currently featuring in the “Hostel series” fourth season.

The excited Bettinah took to her Facebook timeline and stated:

“Just to say a very big thank you to all my Be My Date Fans for the very warm welcome and love you are already showing me. Trust me, your Sunday evenings just got better because I am ready to give you the best.”

The show has been off air for a couple of months as Buddies’ Production, the producers of the show searched for a suitable replacement for Fabiola.

A lady who goes by the moniker Shafigure Kitaka was rumoured to be Fabiola’s replacement after she auditioned. However it turned up that the only thing she had in common with Fabiola were the hips and NTV rejected her.

Congs Bettinah.
