[dropcap]S[/dropcap]everal online platforms last week reported that rapper Keko had gone bonkers and was admitted at Butabika, a hospital for the mentally ill, but she is all good.

Keko has been having a rough patch including a separation with the Sony label, but that doesn’t mean she is not in control of her faculties. It was reported that Keko’s family had booked her into Butabika after a series of depressions and drug abuse.

However, the singer is well and she is currently in Nairobi as one of the African musicians taking part in the third edition of Coke Studio Africa.

The show is non competitive and it brings together and showcases the diversity of African musical talent.

Coke Studio Africa Season 3 will feature 26 of African musicians coming from Uganda, Nigeria, Mozambique, Kenya and Tanzania.

The acts include Jose Chameleone from Uganda, Elani, Jua Kali, Wangeci, AVRIL, Yemi Alade, Vanessa Mdee, 2Face Idibia, Ali Kiba, Neyma, and Dama Do Bling among others.

Grammy Award winning musician and producer Zwai Bala, of ground-breaking South African Kwaito group TKZee, will be the show’s music director while Brett Lotriet, a renowned International TV director and producer will be working as the series producer.
