Comedy has taken the “ninja gal” from Kabale places, and the next stop is the USA. Kansiime will be “Coming to America” this October.
She is first claiming her place as one of the biggest comediennes on the continent and organisers of the Africa Music Magazine Awards (Afrimma) have stamped their approval by booking her to co-host the awards gala on 10th October alongside Nigeria’s Basket Mouth.
Kansiime and Basket Mouth are “miles” apart when it comes to height because our Mukiga girl is “down to earth” like she usually says, but comedy will put them on the same level at the event that will be held in Dallas.
Kansiime and Basket Mouth also shared the stage at the Africa Laughs comedy event held at the Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala last October.
Meanwhile Kansiime will also be holding several other shows in Uncle Sam’s land according to her manager Johnson Mujungu of Grajoh Entertainment.
“She will also perform on Friday October 16th and Saturday October 17th, 2015 in Washington DC and Detroit, Michigan,” he said.
