Two and a half months after giving birth to fellow singer Eddy Kenzo’s daughter, Rema Namakula is out of maternity leave and she is back in the music game.

The singer didn’t even show up at the Airtel Women’s Day concert at Kati Kati where she had been advertised as one of the performers with Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage.

However, Rema is back to studio and has recorded a new song titled Akatonotono.  The song was penned by Nince Henry who is behind songs like her breakthrough solo track Oli Wange.

The song is about the power of little things in love like a simple whatsapp message while lovers are apart.

Rema has only performed at Mutaasa Kafeero’s daughter Mastulah Nassali’s wedding to Hajji Ibrahim Fahad Lugobe though the pair broke up after only two weeks.
