The entertainment industry is grieving the loss of Mzee Jackson Willington Sentamu, father to Bobi Wine, Eddy Yawe, Banjo Man, Mickie Wine and more than 30 other children.

It is public knowledge that Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine are archrivals. They are like President Museveni and his archrival Dr Kiiza Besigye. They were all once more than allies but they no longer see each other face to face.

Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool have been beefing for the last 10 years and even when we thought they would mend fences after their 2012 musical battle where they were all paid handsomely, they only kept coming out with songs hitting at each other.

But in times of death, the beef is put aside, so Bebe Cool used his Facebook wall to send a condolence message to Bobi Wine.

“RIP Mzee SENTAMU Father to Eddy Yawe, Bobi Wine, Chairman Nyanzi and others. My Condolensces & prayers to the family,” Bebe Cool’s message read.

Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine stood within just a metre of each other a few days ago, during the Hipipo Awards after they were invited by Afrigo Band veteran singer Joanita Kawalya to accompany her to pick her Lifetime Achievement Award.

Kawalya was kick-starting the process of the two mending fencing, which has even been cemented more during Bobi’s grieving time.
