The rate at which Kampala’s roads are flooding when it rains is alarming. We might soon need to buy boys to use during the rainy season.

With Kampala roads turning into rivers every time it rains, a group of social conscious individuals have started a group on Facebook to alert fellow road users on the flooded roads.

The group is called Flood Alert On Kampala Roads.

Tororo MP Sanjay Tanna welcomed the idea and posted on the group timeline.

“Excellent idea!! Please give details of the road, section and timings if we r to be useful to one another… Thx,” he posted.

Check out some of the photos that were posted during the Friday evening downpour.
