Franklin and Desire in happier times.
Franklin and Desire in happier times.

If Desire Luzinda’s side of the story is true, then she need our sympathy.

Her troubles started on Thursday when she was picked by bailiffs over a Shs20m debt.

Desire was taken to High Court and she was almost sent to Luzira until good Samaritans bailed her out with Shs10m to settle part of her debt.

The embattled singer said she had borrowed the money on behalf of Nigerian national Franklin Emoubor Ebenhron, an ex lover, and he refused to pay back the money when their relationship went sour.

On the mention of Franklin’s name, he responded by releasing Desire’s nude images claiming her had financed her concert and she paid him back by sleeping with several men like Seya, Toniks and Ben Misagga.

Desire’s side of the story is that money was borrowed after her concert and Franklin was stranded in Kampala so she borrowed the money on his behalf.

The Nigerian has also been referred to as a 419 fraudster. He also apparently holds a Ugandan passport in the names of Franklin Mugisha from Rutooma that he uses for one of his multiple identities.

Desire is currently keeping a low profile to allow the dust to settle.
