The Rich Gang members threw their Made of Money party at Liquid Silk on Tuesday night. As promised, it was an open bar affair, though it was restricted to Uganda Breweries products because the party was sponsored by Johnnie Walker Gold Label.
It is public knowledge that Rich Gang president Ivan Semwanga broke up with his baby mama Zari Hassan who is of recent hobnobbing with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz. So the question on everyone’s mind is, who will Ivan’s new catch be.
Well, we are not saying it will be Desire, but Ivan showed that he desired the Ekitone singer at the white party.
Ïvan grabbed the microphone from the emcee to introduce Desire, himself and he asked the bouncers to create way for her to come and perform from the VIP area where the Rich Gang members were seated.
He kept tipping her several dollars as she performed. They danced together through most of her performance.
When she was done, emcee Agatha Loswash dared Ivan to pay Desire if he really wanted her Ekitone. The price was put at $10,000 (about Shs27m).
Ivan asked his Rich Gang Vice President King Lawrence how much he should give Desire and Lawrence advised him that Rich Gang members have too much money to count it so he should pick from his bundle.
Ivan however didn’t leave the club with Desire as he left with fellow Rich Gang members in a white limo.
