Miss Tanzania makes it to the Miss World People’s Choice Top 10

Miss Tanzania.

If it was up to the general public, Miss Tanzania Happiness Watimanwya would be among the Top 10 in this year’s Miss World beauty pageant.

She has made to the list of the Top 10 in the People’s Choice category that is determined entirely using votes from people across the world. Tanzanians are on a roll, carrying the East African flag in several fields. Close to two weeks ago, Diamond Platnumz picked up three trophies at the Channel O Awards. On Sunday, Tanzania’s Idris won Big Brother Africa’s $300,000 prize money and now Happiness is in the Miss World Peoples Choice Top 10.

The finale takes place this Sunday 14th December and that is when voting for the People’s Choice will close, so Miss Uganda Leah Kalanguka who is not on the list currently still stands a chance if we keep voting. Here are the current top 10 in no particular order.

Miss Tanzania, Happiness Watimanywa.
Miss Australia, Courtney Thorpe.
Miss Barbados, Zoé Trotman.
Miss Haiti, Carolyn Desert.
Miss India, Koyal Rana.
Miss Nepal, Subin Limbu.
Miss Netherlands, Tatjana Maul.
Miss Philippines, Valerie Weigmann.
Miss South Africa, Rolene Strauss.
Miss Thailand – Maeya Nonthawan Thongleng.

You can still vote for Miss Uganda Leah Kalanguka by downloading the Miss World App on your phone and voting for her. Check her out on the Miss World runway.
