Its tears again as Uganda have lost by to 2-0 against Guinea Bissau in the final game of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers missing a spot in the continent’s biggest soccer show piece.

It was the same old story of coming so close yet so far as Uganda only needed a draw to qualify.

A first half goal from a free kick and a second half penalty sealed Uganda’s fate. The culprit in both instances was the captain Andy Mwesigwa who was sent off with a red card after his second offence.

Mwesigwa was the cause of Uganda's troubles.

It has been 36 years since Uganda qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations and unfortunately we now have to wait till 2017.
