What you missed at the Wizkid show - Matooke Republic

What you missed at the Wizkid show

Naija boy Wizkid performed at the Golf Course Hotel on Wednesday night. Unlike the usual shows that carry a price tag, this was an invite only affair, so even if you came singing “If I show You The Money,” the organisers didn’t want to know. Security had to Pull You Over to show your Particular (invite), to access the concert.

Guinness was unveiling their new look bottle (rather making it official because it has been on the market for more than a month) and they invited close to 1,000 guests for the do. We know Matooke Republic (UG) has more than 36 million people, so we are sure most of you reading this didn’t get to Holla At Yo Boy Wizkid. He was looking for Caro, but many of the Carols stayed home because they couldn’t get invites. We know you wanted to see the star and we were On Top Of Your Matter, so check out what you missed.

Cindy was one of the curtain raisers.
Navio spitting his rhymes.
Irene Ntale was reduced to a spectator.
Prince Jjunju capturing the moments with his Samsung.
Jose Chameleone “represented East Africa.”
Wizkid’s official DJ Xclusive. There is something about Ugandans and loving “official DJs”. The way the girls screamed you would think he was the star of the night.
Wizkid got so much love from Kampala peeps.
