How can I burn his car? Kenzo wants Big Eye to apologise

Singer Eddy Kenzo is not a happy man because someone he considers his bosom buddy is accusing him of burning his car.

Singer Big Eye woke up on Monday morning to the sound of a blast, only to realise that his car, a Toyota Noah, reg. no UAS 592U was up in flames.

Big Eye recorded a statement at Katwe Police station about the incident that happened at his home in Makindye, Kizungu Zone.

Among the people he suspects to have committed the act is Eddy Kenzo, someone who is considered Big Eye’s friend and brother.

Kenzo actually housed Big Eye in 2011 when he was just starting out in his music career. Kenzo was then riding high on his Stamina hit and Big Eye was trying to promote his debut song, Oyogala Ani.

When Big Eye landed the Indicator hit, he left Kenzo’s Big Talent Crew and formed his own Big Muzik Crew. There were rumours of beef, but Kenzo brushed them aside saying he always considered Big Eye a brother.

In fact recently, Kenzo was involved in a brawl with Dembe FM presenter Kasuku who had accused him of having paid radio DJs to stop playing Big Eye’s music.

“How can I do that to my brother? I used to share a bed with him,” an irked Kenzo said back then.

Luganda newspaper Bukedde published an article stating that Big Eye suspected Sitya Loss singer Kenzo of torching his car on Tuesday. Kenzo who is currently on tour in Australia had one word, “speechless”.

In fact he wants an apology from Big Eye.

Big Eye was also involved in a brawl with a DJ during his performance at Bobi Wine’s Size Yo concert at One Love Beach in Busabala on Saturday and it is also suspected that the DJ could have acted in retaliation.

The other possibility is that the car could have gone up in flames as a result of overheating as the incident happened just a while after Big Eye had returned home.
