Singer Rema Namakula is clearly excited to hold her first concert at the luxurious Kampala Serena Hotel.  Rema is set to stage her Banyabo concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel, Victoria hall, on Friday March 9, a day after International Women’s Day.

This is Rema’s first show at the luxurious facility that is by far the yardstick for musicians that command a certain level of respect and a classy fanbase.

And we have heard that Rema is pulling out all stops to ensure that the show turns out a success. According to a source close to the singer, even before she starts rehearsals, Rema recently decided to hit the gym ahead of the show.

The source told us Rema wants to have her body in extra perfect shape when she steps on stage next month. We learnt that Rema visits a gym in one of the leading hotels in town. However, we also learnt that Rema visits the gym at awkward hours- between 11am to 1pm because there is less human traffic at the facility at that time. Entry to the Banyabo concert is Shs 100,000 per head while a table goes for Shs3m.
