Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta skips presidential debate as Raila “debates solo”

President Uhuru Kenyatta was a “no show” at the highly anticipated presidential  debate yesterday night.  Uhuru Kenyatta had until the last minute not made it clear if he would attend the debate, having claimed the organiser’s did not engage his team throughout the preparation.
 
Opposition flag-bearer Raila Odinga, however, showed up for the mouthwatering presidential debate making Kenyans take to social media to give their reactions on the matter.
This brings memories of our very won Presidential debate last year when the incumbent President Museveni did not show up for the first round. Luckily, for Ugandans there were more than two vying for the presidency.
