Yesterday, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz shared a photo of his baby mama Zarinah Tlale with another man in a swimming pool on his Instagram wall saying that is the reason he is a player.

The photo confirmed reports that their relationship has been on the rocks ever since Zari left to take care of her ex and father of her first three children Ivan Ssemwanga who was bed ridden in a South African hospital. Ivan later passed away but the relationship between Zari and her toy boy had grown sour.

Yesterday, Zari replied to Diamond’s Instagram post with several posts showing that the man Diamond Platnumz accused her of cheating with is actually Ivan’s cousin whom she met on a family spa day. The photo had actually been taken by his wife.

“When you are loyal, some people always find flimsy reasons to cover their dirt,” Zari posted on her official Instagram feed before deleting the posts.

But Diamond had got the message and he is now apologetic. He posted a montage of new photos showing him with Zari and their new baby Prince Nilan and said; “Nimesema staki ushambenga! @zarithebosslady ??” Loosely translated, it means “I don’t want to hurt you Zari the Boss Lady.” The message was completed with lovey dovey emojis.

Looks like East Africa’s showbiz couple will weather the storm. At least for now.
