If you are an avid follower of Rema on Facebook then you ought to have realised her recent posts about healthy eating. The “Akaliro” singer has been on fire of late posting mouthwatering photos of vegetarian food. Yes, stuff like green vegetables, eggs, milk and the typical halal foods.

She revealed to us she is real serious about these food posts. While most Facebook users post foodie photos just for the sake of enticing others or are simply excited to finally treat their taste buds on something delicious probably a nice meal after a long run of constipating on kikomando, Rema is different.

Rema revealed to us she embarked on a journey of eating healthy foods so as to watch her weight which also helps her achieve the ideal shape for her music videos.

“ I have been feeding on healthy foods so that I could reduce on my body weight as  I wanted to fit well in my outfits that will  feature in my new video,’’ she revealed to Matooke Republic in a phone interview.

Rema also expressed excitement about the new video project with Sasha Vybz of Savvy Films. Titled “Yo Sweet”, we are pretty sure that the video will bring out the best of her gorgeous shape and beauty after her deliberate efforts to watch her weight.

‘’ I am happy that after only two weeks of shooting at Entebbe Botanical beech, Old speena, Protea hotel and Munyonyo and one week of editing the video with my artiste/designer Posh, the video is ready for my fans,’’ she said.

She further noted that she has been doing aerobics just to get fit and in shape. How lovely! Talk about self-love.

When asked who she exactly referred to as being sweet, if the title is anything to go by, Rema was hesitant.

“I don’t sing about my personal life. I sing to my fans”, she stated in a serious tone.

We await her video this Thursday.
