Desire Luzinda is set to start trading as a Team No Sleep artiste, after she signed up with the Makindye-based TNS record label. But as we congratulate Desire on her latest achievement, we would also like to let you know that it was not a very easy one for the Kitone singer.

We have received information that Desire called TNS head Jeff Kiwanuka and presented the idea to join his management several months back. However, the proud Jeff told Desire that he was busy and would get back to her towards the end of the year!

Desire never gave up and kept on calling Jeff to find out if he had considered her request. A source revealed to us how Desire resorted to all sorts of marketing tactics to convince Jeff. “She once assured him, that she’s the best positioned artiste to out compete Winnie Nwagi,” the source told us.

According to the source, towards the beginning of November, Jeff finally gave Desire audience. “He told her she had to buy a few songs he had listened to. Desire wasted no time; she paid up for the songs and has since been in studio,” the source added. And like the saying goes; the end justified the means.
